Summer 2008

In-between their day-jobs, studies, house moves, decorating and holidays, ‘Miracle’ have been busy performing and squeezing in rehearsals to polish-up the act and to learn some new songs to add to their ever-expanding repertoire.

Whilst Phil has been doing his best to get his fingers to move fast enough to play the Eddie Van Halen guitar solo in Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’, Paul has decided to buy a new drum kit to further improve the sound and look of the band. Meanwhile, the girls have been practicing their vocal harmonies for a special request to perform some extra songs by ‘The Corrs’ at a private function. Other new numbers include Primal Scream’s ‘Rocks’, Nelly Furtado’s hit ‘Say It Right’ and The Kinks’ ‘You Really Got Me’. We still have dates available over the summer, so don't hesitate to get in touch if you would like to book us.

Although ‘Miracle’ performs mainly at private functions, there are a few dates this summer where, for a small visitor’s fee, you may be able to see the band in perform.

As we apply the finishing touches to the website,'Miracle' have just finished recording some songs from their repertoire which demonstrate their musical talents. These songs, which were recorded in Paul’s recording studio, are now available to listen to in the ‘Listen to Us’ section, we hope that you enjoy them.

As well as recording, 'Miracle' have been busy fulfilling their festive season party bookings and preparing material to add to their ever-expanding repertoire. This year’s festive bookings have been particularly enjoyable and it has been a pleasure see so many people up dancing and enjoying the music. 'Miracle's new batch of Christmas songs have gone down particularly well this year as have some of the old favourites.

We will be updating this section throughout 2008 with the latest news from the band, in the meantime we wish all of our visitors a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
